The school’s objectives are best expressed through its vision and mission. Throughout the years, our effort has been to educate by delivering quality education and creating a learning environment consistent with good educational ethics and responsibilities.

KCC is recognized as one of the prominent schools in the Eastern Cape. It enjoys a reputation made of accomplishments of the recent past. Its learners have been illustrious in many fields and have gone to be admitted any reputable institutions of higher learning. Our learners have also distinguished themselves in co-curricular activities.

Academic excellence has been the hallmark of the school. The school has won quite a number of academic awards. In 2016, the school was named the second best school in the district for achieving 93.40%, with 85 out of a total of 91 matric students passing. We did it again in 2013. The school achieved 95.41%, with 104 out of 109 matric students passing and 49 managed to get admission to study for bachelor’s degrees. After a slight drop in in 2014, the school went back to the summit of academic excellence in 2015. We achieved 95.25% pass rate and we were the 3^rd best school in the district. In 2016, the school managed to achieve 100% and it was first in its history. 41 students got Bachelors, 19 Diplomas and 5 Higher Certificates. We were the best in the district and among the best 50 performing schools in the Eastern Cape Province.
